Steve Hodder has over 25 years experience within the Media industry, and has held senior operational management positions with a number of high profile broadcasters. As Head of Operations (Interactive) for Red Bee Media (formerly BBC Broadcast), Steve headed up the team responsible for the operational delivery and support of the BBC’s red button interactive services across multiple digital television platforms, as well as providing support for the online services of bbc.co.uk.

He is business driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills, together with a proven track record for achieving operational excellence by designing and implementing robust operational procedures and service level improvement processes. During his time at Red Bee Media, Steve led and built a cost effective and successful operations team which consistently delivered complex broadcast services with high availability and accuracy performance levels. Steve is also a strong client and people manager with good organisational expertise, and has the ability to motivate and influence results driven teams.

Steve has accomplished significant results through a hands-on pragmatic approach by building strong client relationships at all levels, along with leading technical teams tasked with developing cutting edge new media solutions. He can offer expertise in all aspects of media and content delivery, along with strong operational process solutions including business continuity and disaster recovery planning, service level agreements and KPI monitoring and reporting.
